Matthew has come from film finance and project management background having worked on multiple film projects from independent short films to some of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters filmed in Australia.

Over the past 4 years Matthew has been developing business strategies and relationships to allow access to the second largest domestic film market in the world (Japan) via the Tokyo and Hong Kong International Film Festivals.

Over the span of 15 years Matthew has worked as an executive producer, financier, production manager, sponsorship manager and a number of other roles associated with film. Matthew had also spent 17 years as an Actor in film television and theatre in his early career.

Over the years Matthew has also developed his skills with courses in speaking Japanese, project management, management training, financial services.

Matthew has also been an associate teacher at the National Institute of Dramatic Art and is regularly invited to attend as a guest speaker at film industry functions most recently as a judge for Showfest sponsored by Movie One and Film Ink.

Matthew is the driving force of the success of Wang Films achievements to date and personally oversees every aspect of the business from start to finish.

In mid 2009 Matthew transformed the company from finance and production to distribution establishing connections with some of the biggest names in the business.
