23/02/2009 - Shochiku have won the 81st Academy Awards for best foreign language film catagory for "Departures" directed by Yojiro Takita. Paving the way for our partnership film with Shochiku, "Kamui" directed by Yoichi Sai, to go to the Oscars.

08/02/2009 - Japanese blockbuster dates released! Kamogawa Horumo comes out in Japan on the 18.04.09 while the highly anticipated Kamui Gaiden will hit the Japanese box office on the 19.09.09.

04/12/2008 - 380 Guests were treated to some wine and food prior to entering the cinema and listened to Matthew Joyce give a speech about the investment in the Japanese film industry available to local investors before being treated to a screening of Australia by Baz Luhrmann.

17/09/2008 - Wang Films will again be attending this years Tokyo Film Festival and market to secure co-productions for our investors and further establishing ourselves as a strong competitor in the Asian market for film.

10/08/2008 - Wang Films and Roguy Films have co produced a Kirin Beer spec commercial aimed at show the quality of production from the Red Camera. Once post production is complete we will showcase the spec ad from this site.

08/06/2008 - Wang Films in Association with Roguy Films have completed NUMBER 6.
